I'm reading a book Mystic's Musing by Sadhguru. He's a prominent figure in mystic Hinduism, and I think he's one of few spiritual enlighteners with an apparent online presence, such as youtube and social media. I don't personally know him, but he's been a part of my life for quite a while in finding and travelling back home to find myself.
The one thing that strikes me is his take on 'reality'. He discusses reality as it's not what you perceived or ever heard, and even you ha,e thought of it before. I never thought of it because to me, the. The reality is what you see, you feel, you immerse surrounding you. It's your reality.
But according to Sadhguru that your existence consists of four: body, mind, emotion, and energy. You're in full control of each one of the four. You choose whether you want to focus only on working to achieve the ultimate, then you are karma yogi. You decide to focus on pursuing your intelligence as your ultimate goal, and then you're a gnana yogi. You can utilise your emotion to achieve the maximum, then you're a bhakti yogi, and you can choose to transform the energy and reach out the ultimate, then you're a kriya yogi.
Which one are you? Reality isn't a choice of duality such as good or bad, happy or sad, as we know it. Good or bad, happy or unhappy is the creation of the mind. Reality is what you make it.
