Do you remember Hello Kitty? Though back in the west, Hello Kitty lost its popularity, in Japan, this cat character is apparently pretty much alive. There's even an exclusive shop in Harajuku dedicated to anything Hello Kitty. I came across so many shops in Harajuku and Kyoto displaying Products with cat designs, such as wallets, handbags, handphone cases, and many more. They seem to develop a particular interest in cats. Their presence can be seen anywhere from anime characters, graphic designs, traditions, arts, myths, and contemporary kawaii culture. I visited the Mori art museum in Roppongi Hills Mori Tower on the top floor. It showcases contemporary art museum. I was there one weekend during the golden week holiday, so I came earlier and still, I had to make a long queue. But being Japanese, their queuing system is very efficient. I came across some exciting cat sculptures by an artist. I can't recall his/her name, but please anyone who knew who the artist is, come forward. The one that caught my eyes is the art installation with lots of cat statues with different expression and positions were placed as an audience in the stadium watching the Olympic 2020. It's very intriguing. The artist's grievance on his/her cat is the story behind the creativities.
